A properly maintained steel water tank offers nearly unlimited service life. Washout inspections are the key. If left to chance and neglected, the tank may sustain corrosion and damage leading to sudden or catastrophic failure. Even worse, your drinking water may become contaminated over time. All tanks need periodic maintenance to both submerged surfaces and to the tank’s entry points.
